Kwadwo Safo Reacts To Outbreak Of Coronavirus In Ghana

The son of popular Ghanaian man of God, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, Kwadwo Safo Jnr has reacted to the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

His father, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka is a well-known technologist, herbalist, and a renowned farmer.

His son, who is carrying his father’s word has indicated his father’s research team is working around the clock to come out with something very positive for Coronavirus.

He emphatically stated that finding a cure for this virus is not something which is above Ghanaians.

Kwadwo Safo Jnr also encouraged Ghanaians to wash their hands, use sanitizer and protect themselves.

He wrote;

“My research team is working around the clock to come out with something very positive for this Covid-19. We should be able to do something about this. This isn’t bigger than we as Ghanaians. Remember to wash your hands. Sanitize and protect yourself.”

Fake Soldier in uniform arrested for for abusing and extorting money from citizens amid coronavirus lockdown (video)

Yesterday, March 30, 2020, happened to be day 1 of the partial lock-down in Ghana saw some residents at Kasoa in the Awutu-Senya East Municipal being dealt with by officers of the Ghana Army for defying the directive in the wake of the spread of the coronavirus disease. Videos of these military men in action and disciplining citizens went viral yesterday with some commending the military for a good job done.

However, some miscreants have tried to infiltrate the security forces to take advantage of the bizarre prevailing circumstances.

And a fake soldier is currently in the grips of the police for beating and extorting monies from people amid the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic.

Some military personnel arrested the man for posing as a soldier. He was nabbed on Monday, March 30, 2020, in full military attire.

Just In: Coronavirus Kills 35-Year-Old Ghanaian In The UK

A 35-year-old Ghanaian has lost his life in the United Kingdom after contracting coronavirus.

He is survived by his wife and one child.

According to a close source, who prefers to remain anonymous, the Ghanaian man who lives in the UK had recently returned from a trip to Italy.

Italy is one of the worst-hit countries. Italy currently has 101,739 confirmed coronavirus cases with 11,591 deaths.

According to the source, the deceased was in Italy for a business appointment.

“We just know he was not feeling well, and then he just suddenly got worse and when he was taken to the hospital he died the next day because he couldn’t breathe at all,” the source said.

He had no underlying health issues. “He just suddenly got worse in a day and he was gone the next day,” the source said.

His passing also debunks the notion that the virus does not kill young people and black people.

Reports reaching the desk of Gossips24.com indicates that 31 out of the 152 coronavirus patients in Ghana have recovered.

This brings to 31, the total number of recoveries recorded in the country.

A total number of 121 patients are therefore remaining, and reports have it that they are actively responding to treatment.
